Here are a couple pix from our hiking trip to Blood Mountain in North Georgia. We went a few weekends before Thanksgiving - it was a beautiful day and we hiked about 10 miles up to the top...good workout. And after that lovely yoga pose on the rock, I almost fell off the mountain. Literally, I grabbed onto a tree to keep from going over. Lucky day for me!

Thanksgiving 2007 - Clearwater, FL
Hi Everyone,
Hope your Holidays have started off well! We traveled 8 hours south to Clearwater, FL to visit Rich's family over Thanksgiving. My sister, Shawn, and my Mom flew in as well - and it was awesome! We had a great time. Despite the cold rainy days, we managed to make it to the beach a couple times and to Wikki Wachee to see the Mermaid Show. The kids loved that!
Shawn and I spent a little too much time in the back of the Jeep, but it was great bonding time. We needed that! I love you sis! Here are some pix...and you are going to love Aidan's sandcastle that he created all by himself!!!!
It was Rich's Birthday on the 28th of November so we celebrated while in Florida. the kids got I Love Dad PJs as a suprise.
Hugs to all of you!

Halloween
Hi Everyone,
Here are a few pix of the kids from Halloween (including the big kid, Rich). Aidan was Dash from the Incredibles and McKenna was Super Girl. Emma (their step sister) was also Super Girl. We trick or treated down Rugby Ave. in College Park and there were so many kids that they had to wait in line sometimes. It's a very nice street with wide roads and big houses that really decorate for the tradition. Police are present to keep the peace, many goblins and ghosts are roaming the streets, it was very exciting for the kids!!
Oh, and McKenna got in a little trouble before the pix so she looks a little sad. We couldn't get her to smile until she got a piece of candy...then she got a little happier.

NC
Hi Everyone,
We spent the weekend in NC with my Mom and sister who came down from NY and Ohio to meet us. We had a great time on the farm with my Aunt and Uncles and three cousins. We had homemade Chicken Stew and made smores around the fire, went four wheeling, hiked and just had a nice relaxing time with the family. It was so nice to see everyone!

Just catching up...
Hi Everyone,
Hope you are all doing well! I went to San Diego from September 21st through the 26th for our User Conference for work. Was a nice break from day to day responsibilities, but I really missed the family. It was the first time I had been away for that long since we got married, so was strange to be alone.
There was an awesome airshow right outside our hotel so that was an added bonus. Here's a picture of me with my friend and coworker, Elliott Brown.
Hugs.

Tugaloo Triathlon 2007
Hi Everyone,
Rich competed in an Olympic distance Tri this past weekend at Tugaloo State Park. It was perfect weather for a race, cool and sunny! We stayed at Chateau Elan, a winery about an hour north of the city and it was really nice to getaway. Rich did the race with Team in Training, so he raised almost $4000 for Leukemia & Lymphoma...such a great cause! If you ever want to participate in a race, you should do it with Team as they train you and guide you though the entire process. They provide amazing support through the race, too. It's a great organization!
Rich said he ran his own race this year and he felt better than ever! He finished, a bit behind the winnner :-), but he did it! I am very proud of him. It was great to hear others come back from the race talking about how fun Rich was at talking trash (ina motivating way) while he was on the course. He was very motivating to others on the team and keeps it fun! He's my husband (I love saying that) and I love him so much!
I have posted a couple pictures of him ont he course and then one of us.
We had an amazing weekend!
Love you all!

Aidan Looses His First Tooth
Aidan lost his first tooth yesterday while enjoyed a lollipop. He was very excited to see what the tooth fairy would bring him. He had me write "money" on a piece of paper and put under his pillow. The tooth fairy left him two gold dollars and a congratualtions note. And while visiting Aidan, tooth fairy kissed McKenna on the forehead and left kiss marks! She was very suprised when she looked in the mirror. I wish I could have captured the looks on there faces. McKenna wouldn't wash off the kiss and told everyone about it in line at Einstein's!
With love....Sheree

Welcome to Our Blog
Hi Everyone,
We think about you all the time, but have a hard time keeping up with everyone. So we thought we would create a blog and update it weekly or as often as time allows, so we can keep you up to date on life in Atlanta. We hope you visit often and let us know how you are doing as well!
Hugs and love to you all!
Here is a recent picture of the kids to share. They went to Boston (flew on a plane for the first time) a couple weeks ago to a wedding with their Mom, Christine and her husband Dave. They had a great time, but came back very, very tired.
